About The Davis Dyslexia Program

The Davis® Dyslexia Correction program is a four part process:

1. The Assessment:

The first step is to call the Ontario Office for a complimentary screening. This screening will determine if the client is a suitable candidate for the Davis(R) Program. It takes about one to two hours.

2. The Program:

This is an intense 30 hours, one-on-one, 5 day program. It is normally conducted from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 A.M. To 4:00 P.M. The program is client lead so breaks are taken frequently. Lunch is from 12:00 P.M till 1:00 P.M. Every day. Programs scheduled during school sessions can be conducted through the weekends ie: Wednesday through Sunday. The client should be well rested and come to the program with a positive attitude. The program benefits individuals ages 8 and above.

3. Support Training:

On the last day of the program, there will be support training for a tutor, teacher or family members who will continue the ongoing work with Symbol Mastery.

4. After the Program:

Follow-up support is also included as part of this program. Learning Perceptions will provide unlimited telephone consultations and up to three follow-up visits as needed at no additional charge.

"Dyslexia is not a complexity. It is a compound of simple factors which can be dealt with step-by-step".
